The park has two beach parking areas, each with easy access to the beach. The franchise food is good with some healthy options: salads and freshly chopped fruit salads, served daily. The beach is relatively narrow and long, and it is very easy to get into the beach and set up. Usually, finding a place to enjoy the water is no problem, as it is the sound of Long Island and once it has a period of summer, it is usually warm enough to swim and cool off in hot weather. The roads are bumpy and uneven, make sure to bring water shoes to make your walk comfortable.
