Emerald Lake, Yoho British Columbia 🇨🇦
#wheretogo
Emerald Lake, one of my absolute favourite lakes in the world, is located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada.
This freshwater lake has a beautiful bluish-green colour that’s absolutely mesmerizing. When I saw it in person, it completely took my breath away. The word “scenic” doesn’t even begin to describe this attraction sufficiently.
It was my first time visiting, and I cannot recommend it more - a truly spectacular experience!
My rating of this attraction: 5 ⭐️ out of 5!
Hiking to Lake O'Hara
#gohiking
Lake O’Hara is in Yoho National Park which is close to the BC-Alberta Border as well as Lake Louise and Banff National Park.
From the parking lot, Lake O’Hara is a 22km (13.7 mile) round-trip hike up a wide gravel road with most people getting to the lake and the Lake O’Hara campground via bus. However this road is close during certain period only walking is permissible.
Facing the front, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains, the blue clouds and the paradise-like scenery. Are these moments in your journey so that you are not moving? When my eyes are on the verge of confrontation with you, the words in Zhang Ailings prose "Love" appear in my mind: "Meet the people you meet among thousands of people, for thousands of years, no time In the wilderness of the world, there is no early step, no late step, just catching up, there is nothing else to say, but only gently ask: Hey, are you there? Picking up the tripod and camera, pick one It is suitable for watching the scenery, and it is suitable for taking pictures. The ear sits for the sound and the eyes are good. Look at the secluded lake under your feet. If you don't look carefully, you don't seem to feel it flowing. The mist that floats on the lake is like a gauze tied to a girl's skirt. It comes from far and near, so it's easy for you to know where you are.

Glacier National Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Shy glaciers of Glacier Natl Park 🙈
Hiking the Great Glacier Trail in Glacier National Park, BC, was an awe-inspiring adventure filled with breathtaking views and serene wilderness. We started at the Glacier National Park Visitor Centre, where we bought our park passes for our visit to the park. Then we drove down to the parking lot along the highway, near Illecillewaet Campground, where we started our hike.
The trail winded through lush forests, across babbling streams, and up rugged terrain, offering a variety of landscapes to explore. As I ascended, the vistas became increasingly spectacular, culminating in panoramic views of towering glaciers and jagged peaks.
The trail's last section proved to the be the most challenging as it was the steepest. But all these added to the sense of accomplishment when we saw glimpses of the (shy) glaciers that have hidden behind fog and clouds.
The Great Glacier Trail truly showcases the raw beauty and majesty of British Columbia's natural landscapes, and I would recommend it to all nature lovers 🍀.

I want to travel to Hong Kong to experience its vibrant city life, delicious cuisine, and breathtaking skyline. From bustling street markets like the Ladies Market, to traditional temples like Man Mo temple, Hong Kong offers a perfect blend of culture, history, and modernity.
Glacier National Park
Drive through the Canadian Rockies and appreciate the beauty of different national parks. There are tranquil ones like water, and there are rushing ones. And then there's the pristine beauty of Glacier National Park...
All the way rushing here, Glacier Park is getting closer and closer, and the snow-capped mountains are getting clearer. After arriving at the park, transfer to a big-footed bike, feel the wind of the glacier, the beauty of the ice field, and the flowing water in the crevices of the glacier, which is as green as jade.
♥Glacier National Park is located at the border of British Columbia and Alberta in Canada and the United States. The Rocky Mountains, known as the "continental divide" in North America, run through the center of the park from north to south. It is a great garden of unique species in North America, with over a thousand kinds of trees, flowers and plants. On the relatively dry eastern slopes, Engelmann spruce, subalpine fir, lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine and western white pine stand tall and straight. On the warmer and more humid western slopes, the park is covered with dense and lush larch, fir and spruce. There are also many kinds of animals in the park, such as bighorn sheep, mountain lions, coyotes, lynx, elk, moose, black bears, grizzly bears, white-tailed deer, and so on.
Balu Pass Trail
#gohiking
The Balu Pass Trail is a lightly trafficked 11.4 km out-and-back hiking route that passes through grizzly bear territory on the way to some truly amazing alpine views. This awesome hike in Glacier National Park will have you climbing uphill through the forest before breaking out into a scenic meadow. From there, you will have sweeping views of the rugged mountains that characterize this beautiful landscape.
Difficulty: Moderate
Duration: 4.5-6h
Distance: 11.4 km

Start from the town of Banff where we live. When I arrived at Emerald Lake, there was an episode. Another car used the Android system to collect the google map. I dont know where the navigation went. The people in this car can only play first. They waited for a child to arrive. . After that, the Android system often made mistakes. Fortunately, everyone used WeChat to communicate so that they would not be mistaken for catching up with the plane. Therefore, there are two cars that must be self-driving before starting to guide the map and keep communicating all the way.
Jingyi time, loading a car romantic, elegantly walking with the autumn, accompanied by soft wind, slap a refreshing autumn, let the time slower, then slower; pull a breeze, cut a maple leaf The soft picture, full of eyes, enjoy the scenery, experience the local customs, perhaps hardships and hardships, just ask for the mood of the day, open-minded, give the trip a flower, although not long-lasting fragrance, but also In the eyebrows of the season, paint a warm blot. . . . . .

Emerald Lake and Ancient Wooden Bridge
Some people say that Banff's Emerald Lake is the most beautiful, in fact, each has its own characteristics.
The characteristic of Emerald Lake is that the lake must first pass through a wooden bridge. This quaint wooden bridge is the most unique among all the lakes in the Rocky Mountains. Tourists have stood here to take photos with Emerald Lake.
This ancient bridge has been around for a few years. The paranoid Canadians are still not using the early one-way street. In fact, the bridge currently only allows the resort ferry in Huzhong Island to pass slowly. The private car can only be parked in the far parking lot by shuttle bus. This bit of protection of the natural heritage is awe-inspiring.
The Emerald Lake seen by the bridge is calm and there is no ripple. The water reflects the snow peaks of the forest. The bright colors hit your vision and feel "really like fake". Emerald Lake is precisely the largest lake in the "Yose National Park" connected to Banff, with an area of more than one square kilometer, formed more than 10,000 years ago. Standing on one side of the lake, I clearly saw that the landslide caused by the avalanche caused the forest to be cut down, and the pile of warm wood in front of the dwelling made me feel the coldness of the earth.
Banff Lake is more than confused; Banff Lake is beautiful, beautifully messed up.
