We stopped for the night in Leon on our way back to Portugal. We didn&#39;t have any  particular expectations for our meal, just something decent. But what a surprise at Mama Tere&#39;s! The setting, the staff, the food, and the wine were all well beyond our expectations: perfect! And all at a very reasonable price.

We enjoyed this small restaurant. The staff is charming, very attentive and very pleasant. The food was very good and of good quality. We will repeat it without doubt!

Good restaurant centrally located with a very nice and unusual atmosphere. The music was great and not obtrusive. Tge dishes hamburger and meat dish, were very good.

Nice place, Staff could smile more. The meat was overkooked although I had ordered it rare.

After trekking some 500 km on the Camino, we are taking a rest in Leon. Thanks to a recommendation in the Moon Camino guide, we booked our early anniversary &lsquo;date&rsquo; dinner at Mama Tere.  We enjoyed every minute, and every bite from the time we strolled up to the cafe until the time we left. Best meal on the Camino in our experiences so far.
