BEAUTIFUL CORON! 🤍Kayangan Lake is a crystal-clear freshwater lake in Coron, featuring underwater rock formations, caves and islets. It’s a popular spot for photographers, for fairly obvious reasons, and is said to be the cleanest lake in all of the Philippines. The water is so clear that you can often see down to a depth of 10 metres, enabling even non-swimmers to see the untouched rock formations from viewpoints around the lake. Kayangan Lake is one of the clearest lake in Asia. It’s beauty is beyond compare. Halfway before the Lake as you climb through the hill, there is a perfect spot take take a picture overlooking the berth, and a small cave. As you progress going down the lake, you will slowly be mesmerized by it’s pristine clear water. There is a ledge for the tourists to walk around to get a perfect view pf the lake before dipping. When you are inside of the lake, the water is amazing, perfect temperature, and perfect combination of fresh water and seawater. Get here early! That way you can take your time with the 100’s of stairs and have the viewpoint to yourself. We only had to wait a few minutes behind a couple we had already met on our flight over. After that, there's a little bit of hiking to access the lake. Elderly will have difficulties with this, kinda steep. But the hike will be all worth it.
