Old Town

布拉格老城（Staré Město）是捷克首都的一个中世纪聚居地，它由一条半圆形的护城河和城墙与外部隔开，两端与伏尔塔瓦河相连。护城河现在被 Revoluční、Na Příkopě 和 Národní 街道所覆盖，这些街道仍然是旧城地籍社区的官方边界。

Prague is the Czech capital and one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Its most famous square is the Old Town Square. The center of the Old Town Square is the statue of Jan Hus. The most distinctive ancient building in the square is the self-tweeting bell. The name Prague comes from German, and is known locally as Braha, meaning "threshold" because the Voltava River flows through a reef here, the current is rapid, similar to crossing a threshold.

There are a lot of things that come to mind when you think of the Czech Republic, but most of all, the old town is probably the most famous tourist attraction in the Czech Republic. It feels the same. I want to go to the old town again with a lot of delicious and many things to see. ㅠㅠ

The old town in Prague is absolutely amazing with lots of stunning architecture

The old city is the essence of Prague. In addition to the famous buildings such as the astronomical clock, the Church of Tien, the statue of Huss and the Church of St. Nicholas, which are centered on the old city square, there are many special buildings, sculptures, shops and delicacies in the streets and alleys of the old city. Walking around the old city, we can appreciate the beauty of Prague's history, culture and life.

Not to mention the big scenic spots, the general houses, especially the old urban areas, are almost the same height on the third and fifth floors, but each has its own characteristics. There are clean shiny stones paving the old roads and many small parks in series. There are old clocks on the roadside, trams running everywhere, and small shops running in succession, which show the real ancient and beautiful, as well as the convenience. This city is fortunate to be preserved so well. Transportation is very convenient. Everywhere you go, you can use different tickets and one ticket. You can constantly transfer to any kind of bus. The fare is almost the same as that of domestic buses. They can travel around Prague. However, the route descriptions of electricity and steam are very small. Complex line information, just an A4 paper. I waited for the shortcut language to be blind, so I had to check the letters one by one to find my own station. Bad eyes can cause problems. But after a little familiarity, it's not a big problem. The cost of accommodation and transportation here is almost twice as low as in Southwest Europe, such as Italy. It's a place where you can slow down, relax, rest and experience (country and city).

The old city is the center of Prague and the most confusing place: there are surprises in alleys and houses in different periods. There are too many attractive things: the fox and lion relief on the door are the original number of the door; with the bell, you can find a small church, as well as a variety of shops, Mucha products stores, ceramics shops displaying exquisite crafts, dazzling glass shops.... In this way, I wandered around the old city for more than ten hours. I watched with eyes, tired my legs, satiated my stomach, and purchased my hands.
