The big thing here is beyond your imagination - yes, it's a city, even the pigsty and cowshed. And how can I believe that it has been nearly 2,000 years old when stepping on the intact floor tiles?
The most shocking thing is that the ancient Roman theater, which can accommodate 1,500 people, has been meticulously restored to its original appearance.
Not far away is the Saint Barnabas Monastery, which was once a place where Greek Orthodox people concealed. Although the Greeks have left, everything here is completely preserved, even including portraits of saints that are wall-mounted.
