Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Portsmouth's naval base is large, including the naval base, the Naval Museum Marie Rose, the Victory, and so on. It takes a day to look carefully. When I went, the only aircraft carrier in the UK, the Elizabeth, was not in port. There is only one Type 45 destroyer. There are several support ships. The most shocking is the Marie Rose showroom. The Naval Museum is actually a display of the glory of the British Navy. It also belongs to the British patriotic education. But it is not surprising to include British troops in the war in Afghanistan as a demonstration of its credit. This may be the universal value of the West, the idea of the Anglo-Saxon people in the heart.



Osborne House

Loved Osborne House. The rooms are beautiful but you can also visit the kitchens and reception rooms. The traditional gardens are beautiful and the lawns are lovely to walk along to the private beach and other buildings. There is a shuttle mini bus to the beach and Swiss Cottage as it is quite a long walk to the beach. There is a small museum next door to Swiss Cottage which is full of historical artefacts collected or donated from all over the world - it is amazing. The house has a very rich history and I loved the room with the family tree. As Queen Victoria had 9 children, most of them were sent to different countries in Europe by marriage and their children and grandchildren became kings and queens of places that still had monarchies or had become republics. Very interesting



Carisbrooke Castle

This is Carisbrooke Castle on the Isle of Wight, England, where King Charles I was imprisoned. It has a history of several centuries. During the summer vacation, I had the honor to visit this ancient and majestic castle. Although the moat has dried up now, it once resisted countless enemies. Now it has become a scenic spot full of various precious flowers and plants.



Needles Park gives you a feeling of strolling to the end of the world. It is a great park. The vast sea is calm, blue and mysterious. The sea breeze is relaxing and comfortable. The gravel road is more suitable for off-road driving. Overall it is good!


