Revelstoke is hands down the best ski resort of North America. This view from te top is just incredible and in case you wondered, yes the trees are always covered in snow like this.

ROGERS PASS DISCOVERY CENTRE At the heart of Rogers Pass National Historic Site, the Rogers Pass Discovery Centre is a replica of an historic railway snowshed. Explore Magazine calls it "the best national park museum in Canada". This place is great. However there is a strong chance you will miss it. It is located in a parking lot also housing a hotel which is abandoned. The area looks like it is under construction. We drove right by thinking we were in the wrong place. The discovery centre is a one storied building with a "green" roof meaning there is grass and plants growing on the roof. The inside of the centre has park people to answer questions. Also great wildlife displays.The bathrooms are very nice. You will need a park pass to enter the centre. Definitely worth the stop.
