_We***00"Pure information: From shanghai south railway station you can take a bus to putuo (zhoushan) for 150 RMB at zhoushan you grab a ferry ticket for 30 RMB and a ticket to enter the island at 160 RMB (passports required also). once you're on the island there are no didi's but the island itself is small enough to walk to the north in around 2 hours and there are shuttle busses, though i didnt use them. you'll need to buy a return ferry ticket to zhoushan for your trip back on the bus.there is also a direct ferry from shanghai to putuoshan and from putuoshan to shanghai once per day but this will take you 12 hours compared to the 4 hours or so on the bus. as a final piece of infornation, yes you are actually allowed to swim in the sea here. i went around 30 meteres out having a bit of a play and a swim, this was at baibusha (hundred step beach) with lifeguards on jetskis for safety. i hope this helps you plan your trip as i had to do my own research and if you dont speak any chinese im sure it could be a challenge!very much worth it howevet,"

_We***35"It is a beautiful place oozing with Chinese ancient art, plays and theater. I enjoyed the show especially the chereography and the Chinese gymnstics. Its definately a place to visit. We enjoy the walk inside the old studio with breathtaking lakes and scenery. Everything is preserved and well looked after. If you lazy to walk you can take a group bike and cycle around"
Quinissa"One of the best water town that I’ve ever been!!! It is really beautiful inside, and it’s still original. One of the thing you MUST do is to take the traditional boat, row by the experienced man. Also stay in the Xizha until the sun sets, as the view at night time is also worth seeing!"

Lingyin Temple on a rainy day is a quiet and tranquil place, so many twists and turns, alleyways and staircases, all whilst looking absolutely stunning.
My second visit to this beautiful temple was even more intriguing than the first, it's yellow painted buildings popping out from the gound in the mist. The flowers and trees in their autumn state are very unique.
Even the quick drive through the West Lake scenic area was beautiful, trees dropping orange and yellow leaves onto the ground.
Linying is famous for it's carved buddhas, but the buildings and the friendly staff really make this place a needed destination to visit.
A ticket here cost 50RMB for the 5 areas of the park (see map photo) we managed to see 2 areas of the park. The first part we went to was Siming Lake, walking around here is relaxing and took us around 1 hour. We then took a 1 hour walk north to the higher area, starting at 6944 restaurant and leading to the waterfalls. This is a 40 minute walk from start to end on a jagged rock path. Be prepared. The nature is wonderful, could easily make a day of the trip and see more areas. All the areas are within walking distance to each other. Take food with you as there aren’t many places to buy except for the main ticket entrance (our first stop). #mapletrees #hiking #nationalpark ##scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #momentsmission
Close to the fenqi Road stop you will find beautiful Westlake in Hangzhou. Lots of interesting features like people who draw portraits, little shops to rehydrate, and of course the big vast lake. Bring comfortable walking shoes. You can walk for hours and also see some sweet squirrels and pigeons along the way.
#momentsmission #travel #hikingtrails #nationalpark #hot Hiking is one of my favourite things, but hiking with friends into a mountain we are lost in was amazing, we found this little gem of a town with a buffet style restaurant in the mountain, this town is a must see, taking a cab to the foot of the Duluo mountain and then start your hike, finding farms and small villages on the way, you will reach the trail quickly, completing the trail you will find this town maybe late afternoon, eat there, you will have amazing food and cool drinks on a hot day. from this town it’s easy, there are a lot of transportation there that will take you right where you need to be for almost no cost at all. #wenzhou #china
Located in Zhejiang Province, Gouqi Island makes for a great little getaway when you're need a 2-3 day break from Shanghai. The main attraction - the abandoned village of Houtouwan - is an old fishing village that was abandoned two decades ago due to inconvenient transportation and access. Now, the village lies silent (except for the tourists that now flock there), completely swallowed up by nature as vines cover the old houses.
To get to the island itself is quite the trip:
1. Go to the Nanpu Bridge Bus Station, and take a bus and ferry to Shengshan Island or Gouqi Island (which are connected via a bridge.) This segment of the journey will take around 4 hours.
2. Once you have arrived, you can take a taxi to Houtouwan, and hike through the village!
When visiting the abandoned island, you will need at least 2-3 hours to allow enough time to explore and take pictures!
#momentsmission #travel #city #china #china Qinghefang Ancient Street is a section of Hefang Street which is located at the northern foot of Wu Shan Hill in Hangzhou. Not far from #west Lake. ... it’s like stepping back in time of the city's long history, it is the best place to embody the historical and cultural character of Hangzhou, my favourite was the copper #museum, as per photos. Definitely make a stop at the Blan Bunny tea shop, it’s like the Asian version shop of Alice in wonderland, from Hangzhou it’s easy to get there, just use your maps and it’s a beautiful walk there. every shop there has character and worth the visit. I would visit there two days if I could. RECOMMENDED!!!!
#hangzhou #travel #hiking #nationalpark #china Hangzhou is just one of those cities that has so much to offer, namely the west lake. be sure to take walking shoes, a camera for #photography. I started at the top and worked my way down, got a cab and got to the top. the view is magnificent. walking down you find nature vs tourist a very clear sight.. boat rides and markets. The Lang walk over the long walkway that cuts the lake is a good walk, be sure to grab a few of those handmade ice creams. I saw so many cats that caught my attention. on the end side of the lake you can find great restaurants and coffee shops to have an amazing meal and coffee before heading back to your hotel room. (Be sure to visit west lake at night too.)
#china #hikingtrails #hiking #nature..- #hangzhou is a beautiful city bit exit to the nature parts on the other side of west lake you you’ll find mountain of tea fields, beautiful walking trails and tea shops with historic buildings, tea picking wasn’t something Iv done but did enjoy the scenic walk through the tea fields, fresh air away from the city. getting there you use a taxi and doesn’t cost much. from there you are free to walk, just bring water, food you can find and also you can eat oranges of the trees (seasonal). Search well enough (use maps) and you find old Chinese villages hidden in these mountains and fields. #tourist
Xitang, probably the best water town in China among the others I have visited. It will be less to describe it as a fantasy land. Visit there in the evening and you will know the reason of my saying. I visited there on November 14 and I was so lucky because this place was closed for about two weeks and that day was the first time of reopening. I didn't need to buy any ticket (saved 95 rmb). There wasn't much crowd that day. However, I was so satisfied capturing some pictures on my phone. Not always I have this satisfaction! By the way, one thing that I didn't like about this place at all is the environment of the bar street (this is my personal opinion with the respect of the decision by the authorities). There is constant loud music (DJ and Pop) from almost every bars that I felt a complete mismatch with the environment of this water town that is almost two thousand years old! It completely changed the mood! The authority could have come up with more creative ideas to attract the young people here.
