Founded in the years of Yongning, west Jin (301), Sichuan Deyang Wanfo Temple, the first name "Luozhen Temple", located in Dahuo Mountain, Luojiang County, Deyang, is the largest Buddhist activity place in northwest Sichuan. In 725, Tang Ming Emperor traveled to Dahuo Mountain, seeing the strangeness of the mountain, happy to Yushu "Dahe Shengjing". Tang Yuan and seven years (812), Tang Xianzong built the "Daheshan Wanfo Temple" here. The whole temple is built on the hillside, divided into six weights, the construction area is more than 1,500 square meters, the first magnificent stone archway engraved with the words "Mist Zen Shengjing", looking at it, the third heavy temple in the temple only exposed one third of the ground. The temple consists of three temples, the temple of the Dashi Temple, the seven Buddha Temple, the temple of the great and the three temples of the west, and has been rebuilt by the abbot Yunhai Zen Master in the Qing Kangxi period (1662). The temple is treasured with two parts of the "Dazheng Tibetan" and the "China Da Tibetan Sutra", as well as a large number of cultural relics and monuments such as stone Buddha and Shishi in the Tang Dynasty. Due to the deep soil layer, fertile soil and rich groundwater, a 1900-year-old Han Ginkgo tree in the temple grew to a height of 33 meters. Its strangeness is that the center of the tree is empty, and it can put down a square table for more than a dozen people, known as the "Bayan first strange tree". It is said that the tree has experienced three major disasters, all miraculously resurrected. Local folks spread, during the Yunhai Zen master as the abbot of the Wanfo Temple, a young woman came to the temple, Yunhai Zen master secretly peeped to find that the woman went out and actually drilled into the ginkgo tree. He thought that the ginkgo tree was possessed by a demon, so he burned the tree to death. Later, Yunhai felt that it was not good to hurt the living, so he set up a platform to read the "Yellow Sutra" for the ginkgo tree for 49 days, and then the tree was revived. In the 1980s, many believers burned incense under the ginkgo tree, and caused another fire. It is said that six fire engines were used in Deyang City, but because the road was blocked, the fire truck could not be close to the big tree, the tree center was all burned, and the bark was also pierced and dried. A few branches on the main trunk at that time, now there are countless small ginkgo trees growing, as if they are the grandchildren of the big tree. For thousands of years, the local people have regarded this ginkgo tree as a god, and the temple of the Buddha next to the tree is also incense. Now the ancient ginkgo has become the most spectacular scenery of Dahuo Mountain, attracting many believers to worship Buddha from afar.
