Tomb of Hai Rui was constructed to commemorate the historic Qing Dynasty official Hai Rui. It is mainly composed of the stone archway, the Hai Rui's tomb, the Hai Rui statue, the Hai Rui Exhibition Hall and related buildings. It is also called the Hai Rui Memorial Hall or Hai Rui Park. The entire park is very clean and well maintained, perfectly suitable for quietly paying respects. The tombstone in front of the Tomb of Hai Rui is a genuine item. It has a history of nearly 400 years and is a precious national cultural relic. The part behind the Tomb of Hai Rui was later expanded, with buildings such as the Hairui statue, Yanglian Pavilion, Qingfeng Pavilion and rockeries.

The Qiongtai Academy was founded during the Qing Emperor Kangxi period. It was an institution of higher learning in Qiongzhou during the Qing Dynasty, and it is said to be constructed to commemorate the Qing Dynasty scholar Qiu Jun. A group of scholars and literati are trained here. It is a famous place of interest in Hainan and now the Qiongtai College of Qiongtai Normal School. There are two small exhibition halls and a small museum in the main building of the Qiongtai College, the "King Xing Lou", which istwo-story with green tiles, red corridors, and white walls. The museum has a large number of still photos and historical materials of the "Search the College". Three hundred years of development history of Qiongtai Academy and Hainan education history are fully demonstrated here.

The Submarine Villages are an interesting Atlantis-like landscape that came as a result of an earthquake in 1605 during the Ming Dynasty, causing more than 70 villages to collapse into the water. At low tide, it is possible to see the ruins of the ancient village from a beach that runs along an area spanning from Dongzhai Port to Puqian Bay. Visitors can also get much closer by taking a boat to the ruins.
