We enjoyed seeing Inch Abbey. We spent about half an hour exploring the ruins. I think it would be worthwhile having some boards showing the scenes from GOT that were filmed there. If they did have an...
Peaceful
Lovely place to visit takes about 30 minutes to an hour, no loo so make sure you plan! Lovely view across the river. Good information boards to give you a view of what life was like in the monastery
Relaxing
Lovely walk round the ruin with information boards, also Game of thrones location. Great for dog walks.
Stopped off on our canoe trip along the Quoile
Always love visiting Inch Abbey. Today we stopped off for a picnic as we paddled back down the Quoile after an afternoons canoeing. The place was quiet apart from the resident crows.
Riverdale!
We Loved visiting Riverdale, and of course learning the real history, a perfect day trip out from Belfast.
