Victorian Gothic architecture, the church in the mid-nineteenth century was originally conceived as a more grandeur, but funding was cut to mitigate the effects of the Great Irish Famine. The church has a fairly simple and bright interior decor, the most famous fan ceiling, and even without attending the Mass service here, it is still worth a look.
