Certainly lives up the hype. it’s an absolute must-visit when visiting Dublin. modern museum with something for all ages.
It's something that needs to be done. You cannot visit Dublin and not visit the Guinness Storehouse. It's overpriced, large crowds and not the best beer brewery tour I've done, but it was good to cross it off. The gravity bar at the top gives you a great view of Dublin but without and tables available and standing room only... you're best off going down the road to a few pubs to secure a seat and a cheaper pint of the black stuff.
I'm not a beer drinker, but this museum is a must visit while in Dublin. First you learn the beer making process, then you take the escalator up to the top for more additional activities. Make sure you book the ticket in advance, you can choice to pour your own Guinness or have someone pour for you at Gravity bar.
Always worth a visit the Guinness Storehouse offers an insight into the famous brewery and the family who started it.
