Located just few steps away from Stephens Green, Iveagh Gardens is well known park mostly by Dubliners. Hidden in Harcourt street, but very easy approachable from the main street side. Great for outdo...
A bit of a hidden gem for me this, a really beautiful park right in the heart of the city. I entered through the back gate of the Museum of Literature Ireland and really enjoyed its tranquility. It ...
A nice little green spot in the middle of the sity
To walk through or sit on the benches and watch birds or squirrels, there are a lot of squirrels. I sat there and ate my lunch and imagined how beautiful it must be in spring and summer, when the rose...
This park is not very well known even to Dubliners, but those who discover it are invariably delighted. The 30-acre plot located just behind the National Concert Hall, was laid out in the year 1863 by Benjamin Guinness. It contains manicured gardens and wilderness areas, archery grounds, a maze, rockeries and roosteries.
The best kept secret of calmness in Dublin city centre. Relax and unwind in this gorgeous park as the city bustles behind you.
A hidden gem. Located near to Stephen's green, it is almost a secret park and one which not many seem to know about. A lovely spot to sit a read your book, or to bring your lunch too. Less busy than Stephen's green, but still centrally located. Its a lovely, quiet little place to stop by.
Tucked away so that few people discover it. The approach is via Harcourt Street. Worth a walk through, especially in summer as it is beautiful. There are live music events in the summer.
Most Dubliners don't know about this public park. It's about five minutes from the beautiful but crowded St. Stephen's Green. On a warm day you'll see people sunbathing and eating lunch on the grass. The last time I was there I noticed that some people will nod knowingly at you, a gesture of the sort you'd expect to see from someone leaving a speakeasy.
Hidden and relaxing gardens to get out from the noise of the city.
