Schifffahrtsmuseum

This palace tower is in the center of the old city of Düsseldorf, a famous landmark in Düsseldorf. It is the place where most of the tourists come to check in. Of course the old function of the tower may be a watchtower. It is five stories high.

The tower is located in the center of the old town of Düsseldorf, on the banks of the North Rhine, and can be seen from afar. It is reflected in the minarets of the church behind it. It is now a maritime museum.

More than 300 years ago, a duke's castle, a fire, all smoke dissipated, only the palace tower in the corner of the castle survived, lasting. There is a Ship Museum in the palace tower, a total of three floors. Upon the palace pagoda, you can clearly see the whole Rhine River. Looking around for a week, you will have a good view and point out the mountains and rivers.

When I went, the palace pagoda was being repaired and scaffolded. It can only roughly see the appearance. The lower half of the ancient pagoda is cylindrical and the upper half is octagonal. Its shape is very peculiar. Now it is used as a museum of ships.
