Sitges Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
A day at Sitges
Getting There - Less than 40 min. by train. Round trip that cost less than 10 euro.
Attractions - The sidewalk by the Mediterranean Sea was a breathtaking while discovering the small town and its narrow streets. The Saint Bartomeu Church overlooking the town with a memorable sunset scenery. Many beaches, the one close to the downtown is large enough and in the morning a group of people would play volleyball for everyone to watch.
Food & Restaurants - You have your pick in this small town. Many coffees and restaurants.
Shopping - Loads of local stores and prices are decent compared to Barcelona.
Overall, a nice and quient town not far from the bustling city of Barcelona.
I went to Barcelona several times, every time I had to go to the charming town of Sitges, about an hours drive from the city. Here, the air is "relax".
Sitges, a small town about half an hour's train from Barcelona, Spain, is located on the Mediterranean Sea. It is so beautiful everywhere. A rosy church is located on the outstretched cape and is surrounded by snow-white houses.
The cloud is low on the small town, as if it came to a fairy tale city, the buildings in the small town are also very characteristic ~ all kinds of bright colors are gathered here, and shine with the Sunshine Coast~
Villa Sitges Carmen Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Sitges is a coastal town in Spain's Catalonia
Sitges is a coastal town in Spain's Catalonia region, southwest of Barcelona, backed by the mountainous Parc Natural del Garraf. It's known for its Mediterranean beaches and seafront promenade lined with grand mansions. The compact old town and surrounding streets are filled with shops, restaurants, and many gay bars and nightclubs. The Maricel Museum and Cau Ferrat Museum showcase Catalan and other Spanish art.
Even though Sitges' Old Town isn't particularly huge, it's worth visiting, especially the old fishermen's quarter with its white homes with blue borders, as well as the 15th-century Church of Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla with its Baroque interior. This part of the town is well suited for your Instagram as well.
