    Damm with mountain view

    Original Text

I stopped by for a break when heading to Chitose Airport. The dam is built in a rockfill type that stores water in the 3 composition of permeable layers, semi permeable layers, and water blockers piled up rocks and soil. There is a parking lot in the administration building, so it is easy to access and you can walk along the dam and enjoy the scenery. However, it was not a superb view.

I stopped by here on the way back to the Eniwa Valley last month. It is near Lake Eniwa. Unfortunately, is it under construction when I went? It seems that it was, and I couldn't see it inside, but I wonder if I should go again next year.

    Bears infested

    Original Text

I couldn't enter the square under the dam and the area around the dam because bears were infested. It is a dam that is easy to drive along the road.

You can put a sign on it and take a picture.

    Original Text

There are signs with the logo mark of "Yokawa Dam" here and there, so it's a good idea to put them in and take pictures. There used to be a hut beside the dam management office, and cats lived there (laughs). I wonder if I was getting food from the office staff. There is a park under the embankment, which is pretty good.
