I stopped by for a break when heading to Chitose Airport. The dam is built in a rockfill type that stores water in the ３ composition of permeable layers, semi permeable layers, and water blockers piled up rocks and soil. There is a parking lot in the administration building, so it is easy to access and you can walk along the dam and enjoy the scenery. However, it was not a superb view.

There used to be a hut beside the dam management office, and cats lived there (laughs). I wonder if I was getting food from the office staff. There is a park under the embankment, which is pretty good.
