About Eryuan: Eryuan County is in Yunnan Province to the north of Dali City. It is the source of Erhai Lake and is an ethnic minority county mostly populated by the Bai people. Dali West Lake is a highland freshwater lake located near Yousuo Township in Eryuan County. Reeds rustle along the lake’s waters and a peaceful atmosphere fills the surrounding villages, giving the area a water town feel. Tourists can ride boats, sample tea, dine on fish dishes, and experience rural life in a highland water town.
