If you are glued to your phone and need constant electronic stimulus, this place is not for you, BUT IF YOU HAVE A BRAIN and are CURIOUS and want to be MORE INFORMED, then stop in and spend some time READING (yes, my word THAT!) and learn some more about where you live or are visiting. Its small, but informative and a valuable resource for all in the County of San Diego and more should visit and support it. We were impressed and very glad we stopped and slowed down and read and learned. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Located next to the San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park, the San Diego Archaeological Center explores over 10 thousand years of the regional history of the San Diego area. They have some really neat exhibits that are worth a visit.
This used to be San Pasqualeunion school where my son would attend. It's right between the San Diego safari park and the San Pasquale battlefield state park. Great for kids to learn about who lived in this region many years ago. The old Indian burial ground is next-door. You can visit both of them
This museum is past the San Diego Zoo Safari Park next to the Battlefield Museum. It's kind of in the boonies. If you like archaeology and history, come check it out for a little bit. It's mostly meant to be a collections facility so exhibits are old and still developing. Great education director trying to innovate the programs and guest experience. Worth a visit if you're in North county.
