This restaurant offers a nice ambiance, sophisticated food arrangements and careful service. It is a welcome change to the typical French cooking in the area. Count on spending about 50-60 euro per person plus wine. Each menu starts with ‘ amouse bouche’ , nicely presented perched on a wood stand. They are always delicious, with inventive and surprising flavors. To follow, I chose the fish-oriented menu: the entrée consisted of different sampling of fish and shellfish which were very nice, the main dish was unfortunately forgettable and presented under a dome filled with acrid and chemical wood smoke which I did not appreciate. My dinner companion thoroughly enjoyed the meat-based choices and kept breaking into ooohh, and aahh’s while tasting his deliciously prepared food. Dessert was exquisite. We went on Saturday and it was very busy and had a very long wait between plates. I guess there were simply too many people for the two courteous and attentive servers scurrying rapidly among tables. Highly recommended.
Stopped here en route from England to Barcelona and very pleased we did! Careful, flavourful cooking and beautifully presented. Great combinations of taste, texture and ingredients and good value for a menu of this quality. Personal service, good local wines. We’ll be back for sure.
We had the fish based menu which was excellent. Great flavours, beautifully presented. Amazing range of cheeses. I found that there was rather too much food, I should have eaten less before coming here!
3 weeks in France and this was the best! Don’t let the outside fool you. The industrial neighborhood makes you wonder if your GPS is broken. Once you step off the street into the restaurant outdoor oasis, under the shade of leafy vines, the amazing service and food starts. Kind, professional, and attentive service. Food taste and presentation were artfully excellent.
