The food and service were both amazing. The owner works directly on the floor which allowed us to trust in his recommendations based on food  dishes and wine of our preference.. would highly recommend this restaurant

We had been looking forward to visiting this restaurant since we booked our holiday, and it certainly lived up to our expectations and well deserved reviews. Fantastic food (recommend special sausage appetiser &amp; duck breast main), excellent service and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Pietro is a wonderful host and our experience has only been matched in their sister restaurant, Double D (the best tapas &amp; sangria) also near where we were staying. We have been very lucky to be so well looked after.

We had a wonderful experience at O Lusitano&rsquo;s Restaurant! The ambiance, the  service and the meal were amazing! We had a beautiful evening and highly recommend this eatery.

Excellent restaurant away from the touristy spots - great food, great wine selection and recommended wine from staff was perfect. Great for kids and very accommodating for our  7 month old granddaughter.

Absolutely fabulous! The best restaurant we dined at during our 10 day trip! Food was excellent and very attentive service! Highly recommend this restaurant! We enjoyed the Iberian pork cheeks and special of the day (steak with polenta and grilled veggies). Fabulous! Dessert (the Algarve Delicacy) was exceptional! The owner came to our table and spent time talking with us. We will be dining at his other restaurant (Double D Bistro) during our trip! Highly recommend!!

Had to wait about 45mins for the food to arrive, even though there was only one other family of 4 in the restaurant! The food was nice, when we asked for the dessert menu he said all they had was icecream! The bill came and instead of 50% off they had only given us 30% off and he said nothing could be done as the manager wasn&#39;t here, even though on the receipt it said the Manager had done our bill. I asked a few times for the complaints book but he kept saying as we booked through The Fork, nothing to do with them! First he said it&#39;s the first 7 lucky people to book each day get 50% off then after a while he pointed to a table of 7 people saying you only get 50% off if you are 7 people or more! He then contacted The Fork and he said as I amended the booking to come 30mins later than I first said the discount was now only 30%, even though on The Fork 50% off was still there! I contacted The Fork myself who apologised and gave me 2000 Yums in compensation and would talk to the restaurant

We thought to try this restaurant Tasca da Cascata, and I don&#39;t like to write a bad review but prefer to mention this to the owner(s) personally but as this restaurant belongs to the hotel Ondamar this would be difficult to reach the owner(s) and hopefully they would read this too.. Our table was very sticky. There was not much on the menu (and different from the menu on Fork), and a few things on the menu were not available anyway.The two ladies working there were nice and tried their best.Its location is nice though overlooking the mini golf, But, it is more like a snackbar for the minigolf.No, we will not go back there again!!!
