Restaurante Parador de Mojácar

The hotel was as inviting and meticulously tidy as one would expect from a Parador. The staff in the restaurant were so helpful as our Spanish was fairly limited, we were given the best of service throughout the whole meal, the view outside overlooking the sea added to our enjoyment when eating the finest and well presented tasty food. It was a tremendous experience thank you, so looking forwards to returning.

I love this place. The staff are really, really lovely - if a little strict on COVID rules but I understand that. The food is very good - maybe not haute cuisine - but it draws on regional ingredients and traditions and is well executed, particularly for a seaside resort. Oh, and talking of sea, if you sit out on the terrace at lunchtime the vista is simply wonderful. So good we stayed for 5 hours! Every time we’re in Mojacar we go to the Parador for lunch and will continue to do so.

After enjoying an incredible lunch for five people only eight days earlier, On Monday night I invited two guests to join me. It started withe bread and a spoonful of olive oil, previous dining the bottle was left with us, asked if we would order our first and only drink no staff ever asked again if we wanted any more all evening, we were forever attempting to attract somebody.Becoming very disappointed with the service our main course of skewered chicken and rice was unedible, hard and tough, we even thought it was pork, it was so tastless. For 145 euros it was never value.

The place is beautiful and the service is excellent. We loved the food, a 10 for the rice and the Valentine's Day dessert.
