Restaurant Chez Fanny

The hostess was fabulous, the food delicious and the ambience wonderful. Our French is woeful but we were made to feel incredibly welcome, including our dog Bruce. The food is proper French cuisine done to a great standard. If we ever return to the region we will definitely pay Chez Fanny another visit. Merci.

Fabulous food and very attentive service. Fanny (the co-owner) spent time talking to us despite her busy evening. Every meal option was delicious, the asparagus starter, crab with leeks, market beef and lamb tagine were our choices. Not to mention the fabulous desserts. We were staying locally on our way back to England tomorrow and what a way to end our 3 month trip. Thank you Fanny (and Mr Fanny the chef)

Chez Fanny served with most delicious food which all 4 in our party greatly enjoyed. The only problem was that the Lamb Tajine, which we would have all loved, only had one portion left. My wife declared it to be wonderful! The restaurant was very quiet on the day and time that we visited, which enabled us all to sit chatting long after the meal was finished.The hostess was excellent and we would very happily visit and eat there again should the chance arise. Chez Fanny is a restaurant that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys good food in a very pleasant atmosphere.

Husband and wife team without fuss. Service is very efficient. The food is high quality simply cooked and garnished. Tastes are well blended. There is space between tables so one does not feel crowded nor an unwanted eavesdropper.
