We made a booking, which was really easy through the app. It&#39;s a nicely maintained pub, but a pub all the same, so it&#39;s not the most intimate dining experience- but overall an enjoyable, easy atmosphere.The food and service was excellent! Fresh, well cooked and tasty as you could ask for, servings big enough we couldn&#39;t finish!My lady was able to order steak at blue, and I had the beef pie. Simply delicious! Thankyou for such a lovely, night, recommended!

The Atherton Highland Railway Trail (Atherton Tablelands Rail Trail) is a leisurely cycling route in tropical north Queensland that is a full length of 20.5 kilometers, connecting Atherton and Walcamin. The trail is laid along the abandoned railway tracks, with flat surfaces and gentle slopes, making it ideal for cycling lovers of all ages. Cycling experience: Starting point: From Atherton Town, you can rent bicycles at your local bike rental store (such as Atherton Bike Hire or Northern Bikes). Before you start your ride, you can enjoy breakfast at the famous local cafe Petals and Pinecones to replenish your energy. Scenery along the way: Step on the trail and you will cross Mazlin Creek (Mazlin Creek), through dense forests and vast farmland. The trail features a commentary board that introduces the region&#39;s rich history and culture and adds fun to the ride. Tolga: Keep going and you will pass through the town of Tolga. There are attractions such as Tolga Wood Museum (Tolga Woodworks) to showcase local carpentry art and history. Stay here for a short walk, enjoy the crafts and feel the unique charm of the town. If you choose to ride the whole journey, the trail ends with Walkamin. Of course, you can also flex your muscles and time to rewind at any location. Note: Safety first: Although the trail is suitable for leisure riding, you still need to wear a helmet, abide by traffic rules to ensure safety. Recharge: There are limited supply points along the way, it is recommended to bring enough water and snacks. Cafes and shops can be found in towns like Torga for rest and energy replenishment. Weather: Tropical North Queensland has a variable climate. Check weather forecast before departure and bring sunscreen and rain gear to deal with possible weather changes. The Atherton Highlands Railway Trail not only offers a relaxing ride experience, but also gives you the opportunity to gain insight into the natural beauty and history of the region. This trail is worth a try, whether you are an experienced rider or a tourist seeking leisure activities.
