Restaurant Hackescher Hof

For authentic German food. We loved this place (although it did look a little gritty with lots of broken glass and debris). My husband ordered a large plate of sausage with sauerkraut. I ordered chicken steak and a bowl of sauerkraut. We shared an apple strudel. We also ordered 4 different ciders. Service was great and it was full of locals. We were the only "foreigners" here. They have an English menu which was a big help. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The burgers are great! The salad is also very good, using salmon to neutralize the fat of the meat, which is very healthy. The burger patties are baked tender and juicy. There are many desserts, and the quantity is really touching.

Lovely restaurant food was delicious and service great. When we said it was the weekend of my daughter’s 18th they brought out sparkling wine

Food was extremely tasty. We were two families with teenagers and the choice for them was slim but they all had the most gorgeous carbonara. Lovely but was more expensive than anticipated.

Very traditional German restaurant in a perfect location. If you go to the cinema you should definitely reserve a table. Food is delicious, service is perfect and friendly. Really amazing restaurant.
