Along with a 5 Star meal with a gracious waitress that was patient, knowledgeable and generous with the brotchen, we also got a chance to learn about the distillery at the hotel and meet the chef and mastermind behind the concept. It was a learning experience that made my sister’s birthday so special and I’d recommend to anyone in Germany to take a trip to Behl’s Genusshotel and have as much fun as we did!!

We were received from the Elsa with great live music in the wine cellar with very delicious fingerfood. The subsequent 4 gangs menu was great! It starts with a juicy antenna-hepatic terrine, which perfectly fit the orange Chutney. The subsequent salmon souffle was an eye grass and perfectly light and airy prepared. The French Poularden breast in the main corridor was gentle, juicy and had a convincing meat taste, accompanied by a perfectly matched Ratatouille. The dessert consisted of a lovely flamed cream Brulee on a beautiful fruity vinegar pfirsichchutney. The wines accompanied the menu very well. The service staff was always friendly and very attentive. A wonderful evening!
