I really like La Bergerie. Service is great, food is great but wasn’t hot..was room temp . That’s the only improvement I’d like to see happen
The welcome at La Bergerie is very warm and relaxed - the staff are young, personable and charming. The specials are on a chalk board and the main menu you find using a QR code app, which is a good way around the disinfectant issue, I guess, although we didn't realise until we asked that of course the wine list was there too! The food was well-cooked and presented. - my husband's carré de porc was particularly moorish. Main courses served with, on the side (or rather, placed in the middle of the table) a veg and a scrumptious creamy cheesy potato gratin to share, a cute touch! We shared a pissaladière (house speciality) over aperitifs (suggestion of the waitress) which was phenomenal. I thought the wine was somewhat overpriced, given that you can get great local wines at a fraction of the price, but hey-ho - the setting was gorgeous and we were not rushed at all. We shall certainly return when we're feeling rich again!
The ambiance is wonderful and relaxed, however the portions are ridiculously tiny and outrageously expensive. The quality of food is good compared to other restaurants in the area but nothing mind blowing.
good to be back! stays a nice place, food was good! and setting is of course fantastic….a pitty they are not open the whole year! will be back soon…
as always good, some things better as before, some things a little less, but that is always the case hen something change hands...stays a beautiful spot!
