Came here based on the reviews. Our reservation was confirmed quickly and our party of 2 was seated right away. The restaurant is 3 levels and we were on level 2. The lively sound of people around us but not overwhelming. The service was attentive and the wait staff was knowledgeable. The wait staff covered for each other so that the service covered all the tables. The food was served promptly, at the right temperature, and the portions were generous but not too large. Contemporary southern food and boy, was it good. We had nothing bad to eat and had two dishes that were very good. The standouts were the fried chicken (with great sides) and the braised plum dessert. We started with two appetizers: the hush puppies and the deviled eggs. A biscuit is a must. The prices were very moderate and made this a special evening even better. You won&#39;t be disappointed if you go.
