Beautiful views, fantastic service. food outstanding and our favourite restaurant. espatada was to die for. they even offer free transport to/from! we've been visiting for many years and it never disappoints.
Food was amazing, setting was amazing, ruined slightly by a young female waitress taking plates away when we were still eating which made us feel rushed. Otherwise good.
The quality of the food makes this restaurant stand out as exceptional. This was our 2nd visit taking family with us- the espedata cooked on the laurel skewers simply melts in your mouth!!
As usual, our favourite restaurant on Madeira, never wavers in its high standard of beef and good service. The meal we miss the most when we get back home is fillet steak cooked on a stone which you cook yourself to your liking.
