La Bottega sulla Fraga

This little restaurant near Villa Reale is a real treasure. The owner Marco makes you feel at home as soon as you come in and wins your heart with excellent food. I totally recommend a visit.

The restaurant catered for 10 of us, which was no issue at all. We had a variety of meals all of which were excellent. Great value Excellent Food, we will be returning next week.

Trattoria Toscana doc, with a kind and sensible owner. The choice of dishes is a bit limited, but then everything is really well cooked. Typical trattoria atmosphere, also good the bottled white wine that they recommended to us.

Nice atmosphere, good food too, the portions are not big but adequate especially considering the price. Too bad we went on Sunday for lunch and the menu was very limited, there was no seafood as there seems to be on other days.

Simple and very well-kept restaurant, near Lucca city, but not in the center. You can reach Villa Reale a stone's throw away. Excellent food, tortelli al ragù lucchesi and appetizers with cured meats, ham and local cold cuts. Also very good tagliolini with clams and homemade desserts. Very courteous and friendly service, very kind waiters. Very honest and fair prices, excellent menu and quality of meat, all typical local products. We will be back.
