The food is excellent. I have not found a nothing but good food. The service is fast and fresh. Highly recommend.
We've been here before and it has been consistently good. My husband loves a big won-ton soup with lots of chicken and beef in chunks and mustard greens. We also had egg fu young. Very good indeed. As long as you are not expecting some pretentious chain it is the best deal around. It is popular with locals who buy the special and take it home. One dish featuring either rice or noodles and one, two , or three selections from the hot table will feed a family. The soup was Wor Won Ton and fed the two of us nicely. You order at the counter, seat yourself and your food will be cheerfully delivered to you with large glasses of ice water.
This was a spot recommended by our host from B&B for take-out to enjoy on our deck. Can tell it is popular from all the local customers. Good, budget food, and lots of choices
First off anyone who has spent any time on the Big Island knows that there is no "by Mainland " standards any even average Chinese food. Hong Kong Chop Suey would considered average by mainland standards. However it's very good by island standards. If you have the Yen for Chinese food it's the best your going to do. I will go back for more.
