The Place To Be

We had a great lunch with our two young kids before driving up to see the abbey. All of the dishes were delicious, the staff was very welcoming and patient with our limited Italian, and it was a great spot to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. I’m sure the atmosphere at night is even better. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town!

Prices are just a little high (but really just a little) but the quality is there. Fresh and well-prepared ingredients. The chef is sure of himself and comes to the table to make sure everything is ok. The place is simple but clean and well-kept. The service is average, neither praise nor infamy. The meat is really good, very tender and tasty. The appetizers are handmade and are not the usual pre-prepared dishes. I tried the seafood ones and they are very good: crostini with drowned octopus, creamed cod. Excellent. Recommended. They correctly applied the discount as per the fork app without me asking.

Family atmosphere, dining in this little restaurant is like feeling at home. Excellent food, delicious wine. Highly recommended. Oh I forgot... very friendly chef!
