I searched for hours to find a restaurant that could cater for vegans and various food intolerances, good for young children, opening early enough and with reviews of the food good enough for a special birthday celebration. Bistre is EVERYTHING I wanted. The kids loved it. The service was superb with attention from the chef to make special dishes for several members of our party. Antipasti was brilliant. Main dishes were flawless with the salmon, risotto (off menu) and tagliata worthybod special mention. Desserts were also excellent and the wine was great. The price was amazingly good value for what we got and when we're back in this area,.we will visit again without hesitation. Thank you Bistre. It was an unforgettable evening because of your care and attention and wonderful food!
