La table de Thierry

Love the experience at La Table de Thierry. The Chef is an excellent host and the food is impeccable. It’s a must dine experience to get a true taste of the local flavor and hospitality.

This is a great little restaurant in one of the back streets of Clermont Ferrand. It is run by the owner, Thierry, who is also the chef and the waiter. The menu is small, 3 starters, 3 mains and I think 3 desserts, but all freshly prepared and delicious. Thierry is delightful and very friendly. The white wine he suggested was excellent. You will need to book as he can only cater for a small amount as he is on his own, but you won’t be disappointed.

The experience was amazing! Quaint atmosphere; very personal service. My family tried three different meals and thoroughly enjoyed each. Highly recommend!!

We had a fabulous dinner at La Table de Thierry! The food was amazing - there is a limited menu selection which I really liked because everything was prepared by the one chef. He is a delight! We felt like we were walking into his home. There was the chef and one other person working there and they were so friendly and fun. They walked us through the menu and were very attentive. My daughter had the duck and I had beef - they were served with mashed/puréed potatoes and ratatouille; we followed this with fig and vanilla ice cream and a chocolate mousse. All soooo delicious. I can’t speak more highly about a restaurant! The prices were very good too.

Excellent cuisine and very good moment : Thierry, the chef-mother, is a high-colored "character" and very sympathetic ! I recommend !!!
