The food was excellent and extraordinary. The small, conscious rule fractures of the conventional star cuisine make the menu a special culinary experience. The service did not open any wishes so we were allowed to enjoy a wonderful evening.

The food was excellent and exceptional. The small, deliberate breaks with the rules of conventional Michelin-star cuisine make the menu a special culinary experience. The service also left nothing to be desired, so we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening.
Great, personal atmosphere, friendly and entertaining hosts who take a lot of time for their guests. Every course was excellent and exceptional. Clearly recommended!
A former barn converted into an event location. There is a maximum of 12 places here. Once you are there and acclimatized, you are soon caught up in a kind of magic. The delicacies that are about to arrive are prepared in an open kitchen and looking into the pots is almost encouraged. Quite unusual in a kitchen of this quality. It is all the more fun to talk shop and learn. The dishes are prepared while you watch them and you even have the opportunity to intervene according to your own taste... Would you prefer nutmeg or mace? Yes, such obvious little things decide the taste here, like vanilla or tonka bean, but they are very different anyway. The wines booked with them were perfect for all courses, except for dessert. The Moselle wine was a bit too sour. A matter of taste. A great event with a noticeable participatory character and a high level of enjoyment. The feel-good factor depends on the guests, even if the chefs are the main factors. All in all, an evening that will make you want to repeat it.
I can recommend the “fortyone” with all my heart! The food was exceptional and a poem! The celery/kumpuat/chilli/sesame and the savoy cabbage/shiitake/corn course were particularly excellent for me as a vegetarian, who also allows fish on such evenings. The grandiose highlight, indeed: the dessert!! You rarely find that in a menu and restaurant. The “tonka bean” was spectacularly presented in partnership with several other delicacies! Wow! The service was very attentive, natural and left no questions unanswered. I can highly recommend the wine accompaniment, and I was even given a good green tea to finish off. The ambience was classy, but warm and actually cozy! Private! It was an all-round lovely evening with very nice hosts, it is well worth staying there and being pampered with culinary delights. Definitely on the level of a Michelin star!!
Thomas & Sascha love what they do and you can tell with every course. A wonderful taste experience. I can't say exactly which course I liked best - they were all just extraordinary - exceptionally tasty and exceptionally presented. The composition of the dishes is exciting and the wine accompaniment was perfectly matched. 12 out of 10 points ????. We'll be happy to come back and are excited to see what creations we can expect. An evening with friends in a great atmosphere. Simply ????.
