The quality of the whole experience : the food, the awesome atmosphere, the very friendly staff. Such an amazing place !
Truly beautiful setting & lovely gardens. Stunning food presentation and incredible flavour combinations. Service on point.
We had booked and then I emailed to say we were vegetarian and could they accommodate that. However I was so busy leading up to our trip that I completely forgot to check for a reply. When we arrived the chef hadn’t checked emails so wasn’t prepared in advance. Nevertheless they produced an excellent vegetarian meal and the service was great. They should definitely consider having a permanent vegetarian menu. Service was great and lovely building and decor.
Very low on staff. Our welcome was a little haphazard. However the enthusiastic front of house soon put things on a more professional level and thereafter the service was more streamlined. The wine list is good and fait.y priced, as is the menu. Our meal was very good, well-cooked and interesting. Despite having been here 21 years, the chef has not lost his drive, nor his interest in creating exciting, new dishes. Sadly unlike the much more expensive one star in Beaune, where complacency has crept in.This is a great restaurant, and one to return to again and again.
The food has no taste at all. The portions compare to the prices are bad. We are placed in a small room with 4 tables, included ours only one table have been occupied and the other tables has not been prepared for a meal which gives no atmosphere. We are looking to a window which have been closed. We have opened the window our self. We have ordered a dessert. It don’t comes and after 30 minutes we have asked for the check. We must pay € 272 which is totally not the value of the meals. The only thing which have been good is the bread and the wine
