Coolaroo Hotel

Friendly prompt service and excellent food as always. We had : excellent pork belly with red wine jus, mash and vegetables. Veg are always a good mix which are cut small enough to be evenly cooked, just right. Salmon with beans and fried potato cubes and salsa.

Always a great dinner at Coolaroo Hotek Bistro. Usually some great tender meat or chicken dish for me with really nice mash, and vegetables which are varied and perfectly cooked. Not hard, not mushy (important for cauliflower!). Very good red wine gravy. Garlic bread here with added cheese and bacon bits is both crispy and soft in the right places. Addictive. I know they have the "same" in similar pub bistros, but this is so much nicer. Add a nice glass of Pepperjack shiraz. Staff are lovely. Friendly and welcoming, attentive and caring.

Stumbled across this little hidden gem one day while travelling home with twins when we decided to pop in for lunch. I'm glad that we did!We were warmly greeted by staff in the bistro and they were all very friendly, attentive and welcoming. Food is delicious, hot and the atmosphere is lovely also. Indoor playground is very suitable for my 2 year old twins as the have a jumping castle and a mini playground too and cater for children only.Lovely place!

The staff were very nice and the food was very good. It came quite quickly. We were just glad that we could get out of our house and get together for my birthday

Coolaroo Hotel bistro is a hidden gem. Some really good food and value. Friendly caring service.
