La Fourchette

An authentic western restaurant, with simple but elegant decoration. It is very comfortable to sit inside and taste delicious wine and tender but not crispy beef. The taste is quite good. It is worthy of being a master-level production.

The soup was average, the main course tasted average, I didn't order dessert, the portion was large, the chef was very authentic, the red wine steak couldn't be better

From the atmosphere to the food to the service, La Fourchette is simply awesome! My sister was married last weekend and we held her bachelorette party on May 26th at La Fourchette. Zeinhab, the manager, is the best as she organized everything with very little direction. Her eye for detail, the service and the food all made for a super fun night. We will return to this resto when we are back in Dakar, that is for sure!

It is classified as one of the best resturants in Dakar. I went there yesterday with two colleagues. The ambiance is nice and the staff is friendly. However, the menu was not up to my expectations especially the seafood one. I had a fish meal; it was ok, but not exceptional. However, the dessert was great.
