Had Sunday roast. Good choice of meats, excellent portions.  Very tasty. Nice dessert menu too. Best to book as was quite busy

The food was excellent, well cooked, hot and tasty. Customer care was great. The place, very clean. We had King size carvery with choice of 5 meats, several choices of veg, the best roast potatoes and hot gravy. ????

the reason the ambiance wasn&#39;t excellent was that there was only 3 or 4 other tables in use, it used to be buzzing before covid. Just glad its open again.

4 of us to feed , Roast meats were excellentSome Veg did need filling but was fineDesserts lovely

Nice food and polite staff. Didn&#39;t like that people were queuing around me for their food while i was eating. Also due to queue had to wait in food line just for a drink.

A beer house with a simple meal, The Old Yard Tapas Bar style is very industrial, full of British style, the lighting is not too dark, just right, very atmospheric, green peppers as side dishes are also delicious! !

We sat down and waited ages for our order to be taken and they finally came for our food order to then realise we had been sat all thos rime not been asked to orderna drink.  Starters were OK. Mains pizzas x3 had hardly any cheese and were dry. Pasta x 4 2 of which were carbonarra both of our party members said it was tasteless.  One carbonarra was forgotten and the table had half eaten their meals by the time it was ready.  When the missing meal was ready we sat looking at it waiting to be collected and brought to the table.  We went and fot it ourselves. 10 mins later we finally saw somone to request black pepper to Tey to add some flavour. Service was dire and it was by no means busy.  There was onenl cook, one barstaff, ine waiting staff and somone who seemed to be in charge and didn&#39;t seem to be very organised. There was no atmosphere and it was cold.  Our birthday cake was brought out and then we had to hunt for Starr again to ask for side plates.  All told it was overpriced even with our nhs discount. No atmosphere. Tastless and service dreadful.  We wont be going back.

The food was piping hot &amp; delicious &amp; really well priced on a 2 or 3 course offer. The staff were lovely &amp; helpful. It&rsquo;s was a busy Sunday lunchtime but we didn&rsquo;t feel squeezed in to the next table.
