Thai food in Australia
I found a very popular Thai restaurant. I immediately crossed a few blocks and came to eat. I just left Thailand and I enjoyed Thai food again.
Australia is a place that integrates food from all over the world. It can be seen that this restaurant is very popular with locals.
The price is cheap and the environment is beautiful, especially the purple flower tree at the door, which is so beautiful. The taste of the dish is relatively sweet, not authentic Thai flavor, but a modified taste.

This place has been one of our local eateries - dine in and take away - for over a decade. Sometimes the food is bland and unappealing and other visits result in something very tasty. You can bring your own, I think, from the pub across the lane or buy from their limited drinks menu. This is not fine dining. The service is friendly and mostly what they serve is tasty. I dare not suggest any particular dish, or you might encounter the chef on his off day! Local, cheap eats: that's what it is. There are cheaper places a couple of kms distant on King Street, Newtown.
Thai Tha Hai is a good eatery, some dishes remain a good predictable standard and others can often vary. That said went many many times and would never say it's bad, nor have I had a bad meal. Simple fit out big tables with park like benches comfortable enough for a meal but certainly not for a few hours, but that's not what this restaurant is for. Go there for a good meal not to spend the whole evening there. Thai Hai iceberg is a lovely start to your meal iceberg lettuce filled with minced chicken fresh and light with subtle flavours Banana flower salad with chicken is a must, lovely blend of minced chicken coconut nuts and coconut cream, this really is a tasty dish Duck and pineapple lychee red curry is lovely although sometimes it is made much hotter than others Staff are always friendly. That charming Thai friendliness is always there no matter how busy they are. Food is usually super quick but still cooked too order Perfect for a meal before going out, a quick tasty meal or before going to the Seymour Centre which is just up the road.
