Pla De Ses Eres 32, 07740 Mercadal, Menorca, Spain
What travelers say:
This amazing restaurant is a little gem in Es Mercadal we have visited many times when visiting Menorca. It was lovely to return this year after the world pandemic and still find it open. The food and wine was outstanding as it always is, with little twists added to the new menu. What a treat to see Chef again on his rounds making sure his customers were happy with their food. We both had scallops for starter, Turbot for main and tart tartan for dessert everything was just delicious and beautifully presented.

A little gem. This is our second visit to this delightful restaurant. We visited for lunch on Saturday. I opted for the menu of the day, which offered an appetiser, two choices of starter and main course, and full choice from the dessert menu. It also included bread and a glass of wine. My guest chose from the A La Carte and had a dessert. Out bill was €60, which we felt was good value. Food was excellent and staff attentive (we managed despite my lack of Spanish!). Would recommend if looking for something off the tourist trail.
Wonderful restaurant we have ate in many on the island and in our opinion this is up there with the best. The food and service is outstanding. We will definitely be visiting again,
Returned here after a 2 year gap and found it as good as ever. The fish was fresh and delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked to our taste and serviced with just the right amount of vegetables. Wine selection was reasonably priced and their recommendations were excellent. As as for their puddings, well their creme brulé was perfect. The lunch set menu was just right.
We enjoyed our meal but the service was a bit odd. A bottle of juice clearly wasn’t shaken before serving (the cap had been removed so I could not do that for myself). We got water sin gas instead of con gas (the bill clearly said con gas too) and although the waitress said she could change it, she had already undone the cap. She seemed to think that we wouldn’t understand a menu unless she translated it and she seemed offended that I didn’t want to order wine because I was driving. The food itself was very good but it looks like the menu del dia doesn’t change very often and there wasn’t a great choice of white wine.
