Gorgeous views, friendly staff, and incredible food - especially the local dishes. Great place for a large group, too. Would definitely go back!

Superb all around. They seated us one one earlier than our reservation: wonderful spot on the terrace. Every dish was magnificent, and service was attentive.

This restaurant offers delicious food and very pleasant service. Prices are reasonable compared to the quality of food.

I have been in Frascati many times. I have tried many of its restaurants. Most of them were very nice. However, Cacciani really stands out. The food was simply fantastic and the menu has so many choices. There was only one problem. We had 3 courses and we were totally full after this so we did not really try the deserts that I bet would have been terrific!!! I will definitely go again next time I will be in Frascati.

Family hug in Frascati. Best grilled calamari and spaghetti alla carbonara in the Frascati region hands down. Ive tried a ton here. I have a tough time ordering any other main dishes than these though all is great. Never a disappointment and very fair priced. This should be your essential stop if in Frascati.

Staying in Frascati for New Year we found il Borgo degli Artisti by accident as we were struggling to find a restaurant that didn&rsquo;t have a fish set menu, which is traditional for New Year in Italy.  An Italian friend called the restaurant for us to ascertain if the menu would be predominantly meat and to our relief it was.  So we arrived for our reservation and were greeted by Marina, daughter of Owner /Chef Claudio - now 80 years young and a passionate rugby player for Roma in years gone by.  The restaurant interior was very rustic and the walls were covered by framed rugby jerseys from around the world.  Setting the scene for a wonderful New Year&rsquo;s Eve dinner.  The courses started with a delicious soup and crostini, followed by beans and bacon, followed by gnocchi and pasta all washed down with the most delicious of local Frascati white &amp;red wines. All this to be followed by a meat course but unfortunately we had miscalculated the time needed for several course dinner  and had made arrangements with Roman friends to meet them at our hotel to see in the new year together. So we missed the next few courses, though have to say the food was so plentiful I&rsquo;m not sure we could have eaten it all. Marina was distraught we had to leave early before the set meal was finished and even Claudio, the chef came out with a bottle of Prosecco for us to celebrate the New Year before we had to run off.  This is not a 5 star restaurant, but if you are looking for 5 star home cooked food that is simply delicious, served by wonderful, friendly, and with a sense of humour, staff then I encourage you to give this restaurant a try. Thank you Claudio, Marina and Gigi - you made our New Year&rsquo;s Eve very special - happy New Year and we hope to see you again on our next visit.   Fearga, graham, Roland and Barbara.

A environment that brings you back and the taste of the time you were a child at the first Chinese restaurant. A wonderful discovery and now a fixed step, if you want to live a little of those days, take a jump
