MESON LA SALINA

If you love all types of meat and especially lamb , this is the restaurant for you. There are many other choices, fish and veggie options and an excellent wine list .I would say it is moderately expensive but not over priced. The service is attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the experience and would reccomend this lovely restaurant.

So authentic atmosphere, excellent food and service. The place to have meat and enjoy surrounded by local in spanish little house.

This little restaurant is located well away from everything else and unless you know it, you would not just pass it. However, it well worth looking for it because the food is probably the best I have had in Fuengirola. Real good quality ingredients, prepared very well without any fuss and in normal quantities (not the absurd tiny plates as served in some fancy restaurants, nor the the absurd large portions served elsewhere). The main plates comes nice sides included. We had fish but happen to chat with the table next to us who were eating meat and clearly regulars. According to them Salina serves the best meat in town. Going by how good the fish was, I believe it. For drinks they have a surprisingly large and well chosen wine list that would suit a Michelin restaurant. The service is like the food; excellent, very friendly and without fuss. We liked this place so much we went back just a few days later and the food and service was just as good as the first time.

Very good quality food and portion size, if you would like to have the cochinillo/suckling pig you need to order in advance!

Lovely evening with lovely typical Spanish food. More meat based menu and very very good. Wine list excellent and the staff couldn’t be more attentive or nicer. Sat outside in what can only be described as a car park, but it’s so Spanish!! T he ambience is excellent, eating under the trees , you just have to try this lovely restaurant / Will DEFINATELY return.
