Restaurant Kale & de Bril

Never eaten this good. Expertise and hospitality of the crew is beyond perfect! It was great and a beautiful memory. The chefs brought the food to the tables which gives a great personal touch.

Such a nice restaurant in the pittoresk city of Goes! The food courses are a feast. Cozy place. Nice light, not too dark, not too bright, just right. As you enter, you feel immediately relaxed. After a long and a bit stressful day, this was what i needed.Sure, you are paying more than a regular restaurant but is 100% worth it. I treated my lady with a nice dinner in this restaurant for the first today. She was more than impressed, to say the least. Had the 5 course menu, accompanied by suitable excellent wines. I hope I will have the chance to visit this nice restaurant in the future again. The two chefs (Kale en De brill - cool name for a choice) were nice and friendly. The have brought themselves to our table some of the courses. With detailed explanation about the ingredients (most of them, if not all local products from the beautiful Zeeland), that was cool! The waiter who cared for us the whole evening was equally nice and helpful. With extended knowledge about the food and wines. Nice to know what you are eating and drinking. Situated in an unprepossessing office complex, the restaurant is good, the food being both original and of very high quality. We had dinner, taking just the three course menu, with a Spanish white wine for my wife and an Italian barbera d'Asti for me.They started with a couple of appetizers, including some fresh bread with an excellent Spanish olive oil, spicy/sharp rather than soft. Really very good.First course was sliced tuna with apple and a very fresh sauce. Light and very a propos for a warm summer evening. Main course was beef from Zeeland with grated white truffle, and although we eat very little meat, I confess that this was excellent meat, prepared perfectly. Dessert was strawberries, again from Zeeland, with a yoghurt and sherbet sauce. The whole meal was fresh and perfect for the season.Service by owners and the waitresses was friendly and efficient. In sum, a good meal. Not really cheap, but at least you got something for your money!

Wonderful evening with clear explanation. delicious food and especially excellent matching non-alcoholic drinks overwhelmed us.

The food is delicious. The wine pairing is highly recommended. Each dish and wine is described and explained by the waiter at your table. Highly recommended.
