Harvester Cardiff Bay Penarth

Had an excellent meal, as usual. The rump steak was cooked to perfection and my server, Elise, got the order spot on. Food was reasonably price and I got a loyalty stamp. Three more and I get a free main meal! The place was clean, and the salad bar well stocked. Even though it was very busy, the service didn't feel rushed and Elise was attentive but not too much so.

Harvester was as expected. Had the Christmas menu m, they were out of Turkey which was initially disappointing. But my son had the sirloin steak done rare. It was cooked to his liking and he is fussy. My Chicken Dinner was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the meal. Prices are good value too.

Always love the food here. Choice suits everyone always feel well looked after. Only thing we miss with covid restrictions is to help ourselves to the salad. The choice of salad is much reduced.

arrived to find our table was still full so was shown to a different table near the door. Every time the door opened a blast of icy cold air blew over the table. We asked if we could move but was told there were no other tables. We chose to stay but later realised that the bar was almost empty and we would have preferred the option of sitting there instead. Do t feel the table should be used for dining.

Was a very warm welcoming place and the service was lovely. Can't complain.
