I went to Guilin from Nanning on the weekend and specially ate the jiji. The dishes taste good, the roast goose is different from Guangdong, it is very similar to the braised goose, the beer fish tastes very good, if you put tofu inside, it would be better. The waiter is very quality and the attitude is good.

It tastes good. I ate it twice. The signature roast goose skin is tender and the meat is not old. The goose wings and goose sausage are also good. You can add spicy food. The food is very enjoyable. The quicksand buns should be eaten while hot. The filling inside is sweet and not greasy. Recommended.

Chunji Roast Goose has received rave reviews. I went there immediately when I arrived in Guilin today. It is next to the Jingtong Guilin Hotel where we stayed. There were so many people that we had to queue up. It happened to be a wedding of a newlywed couple, and the scene was very festive and lively. But the whole process from queuing, waiting, sitting, ordering, and serving was orderly, and the service was very thoughtful. The three of us also suggested not to order too much, as the dishes were quite large (see picture). The signature roast goose, durian puffs, and candied taro were all very good. Ordered the signature dish roast goose, the taste is authentic, fat but not greasy, the skin is very crispy. Durian pastry and lava buns are mediocre, not as delicious as expected. Sour soup beef is my favorite, and the scallion-flavored lychee taro is really average, not recommended, very bland. Mango salad is good, everyone eats it together. Overall it is good and very popular.

Guilin Chunji Roast Goose, not to mention the high quality and moderate price of the dishes, has already won praise from diners just from the subtleties of its management and service. I came to Guilin for the Chinese New Year. After visiting Duxiu Peak today, I walked 5 minutes to the famous Chunji Roast Goose. I had heard friends recommend Chunji Roast Goose before, so I wanted to experience the goose snails, roast goose, and lava buns in person. Especially the goose snails and roast goose, the taste is good. The snails are big and numerous, and the taste is great. Roast goose is a must-order dish in their house. The meat is not greasy and the taste is very good. This restaurant is worth a try.
