The staff were amazing as one of our guest cars broke down and we had to delay the order and wait 90 minutes for our guest to arrive. The chef and all the staff were amazing and delivered super food considering it was 9pm for a 7.30 pm table booking. One young lad, couldn’t remember his name, blonde hair and very kind and helpful with a cheerful voice. Thank you to you all for being so patient with our late guest.

Staff very welcoming for our large party. Waitress was happy, smiling and attentive. Food was excellent from starters to mains with puddings delicious.

It's been a tough time of late so.my wonderful friend invited me to dinner. I've never been to The Harvester before and had mixed feelings as I hadn't been out for some time due to bad health. We were greeted by a beautiful lady with such a warm and genuine smile which instantly made us feel welcome. I feel guilty I didn't get the ladies name but she was amazing! The lady showed us to our table,explained everything about how the service ran and asked her colleague to take our order.It's weird, I checked the reviews before coming, yes I know, irritating trait of mine ????. All the reviews were saying how wonderful Sally is. We were so blessed and happy to see Sally on duty tonight, I can't even begin to tell you how incredible she is. So down to earth, humble, hard working, friendly, genuine, kind, thoughtful and truly respectful. I really hope the Management show Sally and the female Maitre D just how wonderful they are. Sally has gone more than the extra mile to make us feel welcome. I'm honestly not used to this so I'm incredibly thankful we picked the right night. Sally, you'll never know just how special you are,I can't thank you enough for everything you did for us. I really hope your Management Team see this review because your hard work and warmth to everyone makes you worth your weight in gold. The staff were great, especially Sally quite a laugh and great food. From the moment we entered till we left we were made to feel special. Thank you to all at the Blacksmiths.

Lovely food, although, the pork belly was a little overpriced for quality (and for just a cut of pork), mash potatoe was a little dry. Chips with the bbq stack were plain, with little flavour. Salad excellent as always.Deserts delicious. Thanks
