We've been coming here on and off for thirty years - and that says it all......reliable, wonderful ambience, excellent food , excellent service and sensible prices. A rock-solid choice- with the HUGE advantage that it accepts dogs,,,,

Overall experience was very good. Long wait between courses - possibly due to lack of staff, but this also gave time for food to settle. Was a little bit cool where we were sitting but not uncomfortably so. Food was great. Server was lovely and friendly

Have been so many times it’s always, great atmosphere and staff are very friendly and attentive. Food was of good quality, and great taste, chutney with starters was first class, as weee starter’s.

Much better than our last visit, last year one lunchtime, food not up to today’s standard & service not as good! Staff very friendly & helpful & food excellent.
