Still the best place to eat in Isleworth, never had a bad meal there. Portion sizes above average and, even when there's rugby on or a super-sized party in attendance, the service is remarkably quick and reliable. Yorkshire Puddings are a meal on their own :-) Book in advance, though. There's a roaring fire on in the winter so you'll be cosy too and after a pint you will feel your face getting extremely warm! Which is always a good thing.
Great service even during the busy Father's Day rush. Roasts were incredible and was happy to see a separate veggie roast on the menu! The vegetables were cooked perfectly (not too soft and not raw which is the case in most other pubs). Staff were friendly and great with kids.
There is a varied choice, the quality was excellent and good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. Was not first visit and will certainly be returning.
Lovely pub fires a bonus on a cold, miserable day. The food was excellent. We had the Christmas lunch. Staff very attentive and helpful. The only small grip we had was one of our party had cheese and biscuits, bt the biscuits were soft not crispy like cheese biscuits should be, so we asked for a few more in the hope they would be different, sadly they were the same. So we brought it to the attention of the manager. Who dealt with it immediately by going into the kitchen to ask the chef about the biscuits and brought us some fresh biscuits and apologised. But on the whole a fantastic pub and look forward to going back.
